Midwest Motion new DC gearmotors

Midwest Motion Products has recently announced a new robust DC Gearmotor, the MMP-TM55-60-12V GP52-308. Accepting any 12 Volt DC source, including battery power, this Geared motor is realy compact and has an output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long.

This gearmotor is easy to mount and It’s accomplished with 4 “face mount” M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm Dia. B.C.

The output of this reversible gearmotor is rated for 310 Lb. In. continuous torque, at 2.5 RPM, and 443 Lb. In. Peak. Despite its compact size, and weight of more or less 4 pounds, it’s an efficient design, requiring just 1.2 Amps at 12 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Torque.

This means very low noise operations and lower costs for related drive electronics. Motor windings for 24, 28, 36, 48, 60 & 90 Volts are available. This design is rated at an “IP 54″ protection level for operation in harsh environments. Variable Speed can be accomplished with our fully compatible Speed Controls, Model MMP 25A-12V, or MMP 20A-12V-RSP.
