Bodine Electric, new WX Gearhead
Bodine Electric Company introduces the new WX gearhead in conjunction with a new 3-wire-reversible 34R frame AC induction motor. The WX gearbox is a high-torque gearhead, built to provide longer life and higher performance than similar gearmotors in the same size application.
These new gearmotors are designed to drive applications such as conveyor systems, packaging equipment, metering devices and commercial appliances.
The exterior of the WX gearhead is identical to Bodine’s W models, but the inside has been completely redesigned. These new WX gearmotors feature all-new steel helical gears and synthetic lubricant, allowing the WX to provide up to 50% more torque than previous models.
More Gearmotor features:
- Rugged, all steel helical gears meet or exceed AGMA-9 standards for longest life, and quiet operation
- Synthetic lubrication allows these gearheads to operate over a wide temperature range
- Can be configured to 3-hole mounting pattern via a simple bolt-on adaptor (Bodine model 0995)
- 12 new gear ratios available with this new 3-wire reversible, fixed speed, AC motor
