Varvel, gearboxes for feeding equipment
Varvel recently introduced the gearbox FRP71, expressly designed for feeding system (feeder) screw conveyors; the gearbox fitting does not comply with any standard and a wide range of fittings is offered to match the customer’s need.
According to the Italian manufacturer of speed reducers, the one-piece aluminium die-cast body is abundantly sized to avoid any harmful vibration to the feeding system and to withstand heavy operations.
Helical gears – made of alloy steel, case hardened, tempered and shaved – are designed and verified according to ISO 6336 and DIN 3990.
More features:
- Bearings calculated for at least 15,000 running hour average lifetime
- Keyways according to DIN 6884
- Synthetic longlife oil (without plugs)
- Any mounting position without any prior specification
