Transtecno, new worm gearboxes CM line
According to Italian company, the new CM wormgearboxes improved the technical characteristics of their previous CM range, improving therefore other worm gearboxes on the market.
These gearboxes can be easily recognised thanks to the new design and plastic cover assembled on every unit (which can easily be removed if necessary). On the plastic cover and on the rear input side of the housing can be found the letter ‘G’ : this letter is part of the new logo “TRANSTECNO GENUINE PRODUCTS”, and relays the originality of the products.

The CM gear units have same dimensions of the helical bevel gearbox CMB; furthermore, the same output shaft height, the same hollow output shaft diameter and the same centering and threaded holes.
Accessories for the CM and CMB range are also interchangeable (output flange, output shaft, plastic cover, torque arm).
This originality is interesting not only for OEMs, but also for distributors: with the SAME quantity of gearbox accessories in stock (therefore same investment), distributors would be able to supply components for many MORE applications.
Another important news in Transtecno is the bronze casting area. This internal section allows to completely control the critical casting process (casting of bronze external ring on cast iron).
The process is carried out by an automatic shell die casting machine and it allows to guarantee the characteristics in the original project (final hardness, percentage of alloy components, cooling time).
