Neugart NCP to for designing the drive train

NEUGART has released the NCP 2.1, the second generation of its calculation program for designing the complete drive train. According to Neugart, the NCP 2.1 enables the design of a complete power train, load – gearbox – motor; based on an input of load data, the system will calculate the selected gearbox.

The tool includes databases, detailed performance and dimensional data of over 6000 servo motors as well as the performance and dimensional data of its Neugart gearboxes.

Users have the ability to generate the expected L10 gearbox life based on application data like torque, ratio, output shaft radial loading, speed, axial loading and inertia.

The NCP 2.1 also allows users to select commonly used loading types, such as general torque load with or without output shaft radial loading, rotating indexing table, and rack pinion linear drive. Here you find Neugart’s NCP 2.1.
