Synthetic oil to increase life of food plant gearboxes

A wormgearboxes manufacturer, in partnership with Dow Corning, developed a synthetic oil perfect for gearboxes mounted on food machinery.

In food or packaging machinery, gearboxes are often buried inside the processing machinery; in conveyor drives, they are mounted overhead. Their inaccessibility makes it difficult to maintain and service them.

Thanks to the particular oil, the manufacturer reduced the maintenance and obtained the following benefits:
