Wittenstein improves Alpha

Wittenstein is upgrading its alpha SP+ and alpha TP+ planetary gearboxes; they which will change their look slightly, and will offer torques up to 25% higher, raising the power density.

This improvement will enable the user to select a more cost effective gearbox without compromising on specifications.

According to the company website, they are used, for example, in robotic systems, packaging industry, machine tools, material handling and process engineering; and then, F1 racing, paper and printing presses, medical technology and aerospace sectors.
