Heason distributes ultra compact gearmotors
Heason Technology, an important UK Distributor (Baldor, Danaher, ZF Group etc), has launched a new range of ultra compact high torque gearboxes and servomotor driven rotary positioning actuators, based on SPINEA’s TwinSpin bearing reducer technology.
The TS50 gearbox and the DS50 servo actuator are packaged in nominal 50mm square housings and, complete with heavy duty radial/axial output bearings, feature an 18Nm rated torque output.
Focusing on the smooth backlash-free performance suited to high precision/heavy load positioning, the new miniature gearbox and actuator aim is to satisfy demanding space restricted and high torque applications across robotics and automation.
For the new miniature TS50 gearbox, a standard internal 6mm diameter shaft with a keyway slot provides the input interface and the output is handled by a flange opposite to the mounting face.
With a fixed 63:1 reduction ratio and overall length within 41mm, Heason offer a variety of different input to output mechanical configurations and alternate internal bearing systems to suit increased load handling, reduced friction, larger ambient temperature range and improved precision versions.
