The precision helical planetary gearboxes address the challenges of food environments by incorporating standard features, like stainless steel, hardened shafts, and patented input and output sealing.
Food grade grease allow for the planetary gearbox to be mounted above the food line, adding installation flexibility. The basic housing, the shaft and all fasteners are stainless steel, reducing corrosion caused by exposure to cleaning solutions and food byproducts.
Optional the motor adapter can be applied in stainless steel which makes the Apex precision gearbox resistant against cleaning with hydrogen peroxide.
